The value story
The lowest price on record is $5.99, set in December 2024. Its cuts run 50 percent off as a rule. There have been 35 in the 4 years tracked, about 6 weeks apart. Today it is at full price, and its last discount ended 11 days ago.
Against its own genre it lands in the top 26 percent on value. It is pricier than 93 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 73 percent. The games it most resembles do better on the same math. HAAK ($17.99, scores 67) and Ghost Song ($19.99, scores 55) both outscore it.
Of the 468 Steam-purchase reviews this site sampled, 4 come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written August 2022 to August 2026. Inside the two-hour refund window, 40 percent of the 100 reviews written there were positive, against 78 percent overall, and those are 13 percent of everything written about it.
It carries Valve's Deck Verified rating and runs 8.6 hours, about as long as a handheld game wants to be.

What players say
I got to say i love part 2 because they switched up the game play and it's a new character. I got to say it had Zelda 2 and Castlevania 2 vibe and I'm glad the person that made this game make her a Mary Sue because you had find all the abilities in the game. Sucks there is no Axiom Verge 3 because i want to see Trace and the female character work together like Castlevania 3 style story or a co-op story. The ending...
The Prometheus Ridley Scott didn't give us. The game is an excellent (contained) sci-fi story, and the expansion (being a prequel/sequel ) of the lore of the series is amazing. More focus on melee combat than the first game. At the beginning Indra, the main character, suffers with basic gear, but as you progress, she envolves into something that masters the map and its enemies. Speaking of it, you get a more...
I can't really recommend it based on the fact that 1 was so good and got me to play this one and left me sorely disappointed. I did not feel as if the story gripped me like 1 did. also there are several instances of bug where certain pickups are not counted toward completion and it left me with 99% completion despite me combing over the area completely where the in game map said I was missing an item. I still...
