It has been discounted 39 times in the 6 years tracked here. The median cut across all of them is 75 percent, about 7 weeks apart. Today it is at full price, and its last discount ended 11 days ago.
It is pricier than 97 percent of its genre, and less well reviewed than 89 percent. On the same math REMNANT II® ($49.99, scores 64) and Clash: Artifacts of Chaos ($19.99, scores 66) are the better buys, and they are the games it most resembles.

What players say
It was OK. Straight up 5/10. Middle of the road. Decent. Nothing spectacular. Passable. Not bad. Run-of-the-mill. The game itself is quite easy, slow paced, figure-out-the-trick-and-stun-lock-all-enemies-until-you-win. I would not call this a souls-like at all. I didn't experience any souls mechanic whatsoever. The fact that 3 of the achievements just don't exist in this game is pretty asinine. However, I still...

If you can, try playing this before Remnant or Remnant 2, as this is the prequel to those games. It is a bit janky, but it is pretty fun. It isn't the longest game in the world, but it is pretty jam packed. The final boss has a pretty interesting gimmick too. The other bosses are good and not too hard, but pretty fun. I'd recommend getting this game if it's on sale. $30 can be a bit pricy, but I picked it up for...
It's not for me. Few reasons why: - Not smooth playability, letters and animations seem broken or are too slow, a bit unpolished. - The fighting is not satisfying at all, the timing to parry is odd. - Puzzlewise it is too linear - Last and most importantly, you cannot custom control or assign new buttons to actions preset by default (it comes with RB and RL as attack and heavy attack i.e. this is nuts)
