The value story
November 2022 is where it bottomed out, at $5.99. It has been discounted 48 times in the 7 years tracked here, typically at 90 percent off, with about 6 weeks between sales.
It is pricier than 99 percent of its genre, and less well reviewed than 96 percent. The games it most resembles do better on the same math. Mortal Kombat 1 ($49.99, scores 29) and Injustice™ 2 ($49.99, scores 33) both outscore it.
25 of the 800 Steam-purchase reviews sampled here come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written September 2021 to September 2026. That is more refunded reviewers than 9 in 10 paid games this site has sampled to the same depth, and among the 651 games in its genre sampled this deeply, 110 have a larger share. The typical game sits near 5 in 1,000, so the score docks it. 1 of the 25 refunded reviewers was past Valve's two-hour window when they wrote the review. Inside the two-hour refund window, 29 percent of the 511 reviews written there were positive, against 52 percent overall, and those are 30 percent of everything written about it.
HowLongToBeat players log 11.7 hours as a typical playtime, and completionists log 24, 2.0 times as much.

What players say
There wouldn't be enough here if the game was $10. The idea of a game where you make your own super hero sounds great, but the execution is lacking to say the least. 3 entire fighting styles you unlock are just copy and pasted move sets from other characters, Another 2 only have skill selections from a handful of characters. Most of the moves are lazily funneled into the "standard" skill pool you start with, making...
Loading time is so slow for this type of game. your great and fast PC build is nothing on this one. so boring waiting to load the battles.
Undoubtedly one of my worst purchases ever made. The optimisation for this game is abysmal I've never been able to run it smoothly even with far beyond the recommended specs. The loading times are flat out disgusting and it took me 2 hours of gameplay just to actually get properly into the game so I couldn't refund this piece of junk. Do not buy at any cost unless you want to just burn money and even then there's...
