Good game. Pretty fun fun. It plays kind of like Pokemon, looks good for a 2D RPG, and Cthulhu saving Christmas is exactly as charming as it sounds with a unique twist. There are cat ears in this game. I saw them in the item list and my heart soared. I thought: finally. Cthulhu, ancient eldritch abomination, wearing little cat ears on his 2D sprite. That's the content I'm here for. Turns out, they're a battle item...

This game made my night.. the dialogue lines are HILARIOUS, and Cthulhu is adorable haha. I kinda want to play it again just to take screenshots of some great lines I missed, lol. You can finish it in one sitting, plus you can focus on the story or do a more challenging run by increasing the difficulty, which you can adjust at any point in the game. Next time, we save the world!
EZ 100% completion in 2~4h depending on your read speed and if you skip normal fights (almost pointless) Good balanced humor, some sarcasm, dark, cult, christmas, puns, 4th wall, etc. Not really worth full price but a good game none the less. :)
