This is one of my go-to comfort games when I'm bored or sad. I just wish Malroth would kiss me ;(
It was hard to get into at first but I am really glad I did, it took me over a year to really sit down and try to finish it but once I got 10 hours in I couldn't stop. The amount of charm this game has, the fact its a "continuation" of Dragon Quest 2 and the classic DQ Music makes this my favorite building game. Give this game a shot if you like 'cozy' games or DragonQuest
I enjoy this game so much as a narratively focused RPG that scratches my creative itch in the best way. Does it have some flaws? Absolutely, but I think the game design, story, and overall charm of this game outweigh them in such a powerful fashion that I've replayed the game an extra 2 times despite them. (I have 200+ hours on console) If you're on the fence, try the demo. If you think the price is steep, wishlist...
