Honestly my opinion is mixed on this one, this would be a neutral review if it was an option. It's definitely not a bad game but it feels like there's a lot of missed opportunity here. I went in expecting Dishonored + Wasteland which are two of my favorite series and it just doesn't compare to either one really, though I definitely see the influence. The story is there but it's a little lackluster, the twists were...
I liked it but didn't love it. I think it would have benefitted by having fewer character stories and polishing those few instead of making a bunch of underdeveloped ones. It's fun to play around in the world, and the immersive sim elements help make the game a lot more fun at points, but I definitely wouldn't pay full current listing price ($40 USD) for it.
Was that game fun at times? Yes. Did I enjoy it? Partly... The game is buggy as hell, feels unfinished, not unpolished. While the idea was decent, the realisation wasn't so great. I'd like to see how a potential next game improves on the premise. Here, unfortunately, the more time I spent with the game, the more bothersome it was.
