The value story
It has never been cheaper than $4.49. That was June 2020. Its cuts run 50 percent off as a rule. There have been 35 in the 7 years tracked, about 8 weeks apart.
Value puts it in the top 3 percent of the games it competes with. It is pricier than 84 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 97 percent. Among the games that feel like it, Celeste ($19.99, scores 76) beats it on value, while it beats Owlboy ($19.99, scores 51).
Of the 550 Steam-purchase reviews this site sampled, 5 come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written March 2020 to August 2026. Inside the two-hour refund window, 73 percent of the 300 reviews written there were positive, against 92 percent overall, and those are 7 percent of everything written about it.
Valve rates it Steam Deck Verified, and at 8 hours it is short enough to finish on one.

What players say
6/10, honestly the music, mechanics and art of the game are top notch, but there are some design decisions on this game that make me irrationally angry. First why do you even have a health bar, why even upgrade it everything in the world one shot you outside of boss fights, if i died in a single hit and there wasn't a life system i would be okey with it. And there's opportunities to use it, there's no reason why...
Despite it being a little "niche", this game is GENUINELY one of the best indies i've ever played. It's not only beautiful but the story is rich (although a little confusing) and the soundtrack is fire. Gameplay is great, best 5 bucks ever spent fr
