What drives the score

How to read this

Every input gets a grade, S to D, read from the buyer's side. The score is multiplicative, so an input only counts as raising when it sits near the top of its own scale. Anything with real room left is holding the score back, because that room is the gap to 100. ▲ marks a lift, ▼ a drag or a dock, ? an input we do not have, • a fact this genre's score does not use. The exact weights stay secret.

The value story

August 2026 is where it bottomed out, at $7.49. It has been discounted 20 times in the 2 years tracked here, typically at 25 percent off, with about 6 weeks between sales. Today it is at full price. The last sale was about 7 weeks ago, and on this game's rhythm the next one tends to arrive within 6 weeks.

Against its own genre it lands in the top 47 percent on value. It is pricier than 61 percent of its genre. Among the games that feel like it, SYNTHETIK: Legion Rising ($19.99, scores 82) beats it on value, while it beats The Ascent ($29.99, scores 37).

Steam's global achievement data says about 17 percent of players ever finish it. On a 6.1-hour game, that is a lot of paid-for hours most people never see. This site sampled 351 of its Steam-purchase reviews; 8 were written by buyers who refunded it, sampled from reviews written August 2024 to August 2026. That is more refunded reviewers than 9 in 10 paid games this site has sampled to the same depth, and among the 725 games in its genre sampled this deeply, 39 have a larger share. The typical game sits near 5 in 1,000, so the score docks it. Inside the two-hour refund window, 69 percent of the 137 reviews written there were positive, against 79 percent overall, and those are 39 percent of everything written about it.

What players say

Great game with bad pacing and worse writing. You literally have to steal secret documents from the secret department. It wouldn't be so bad but you have to slog it all to get to the good endgame. 3/5

CyberCorp is a stylish cyberpunk action RPG that combines twin-stick shooting with a loot-focused progression system, delivering a fast and energetic experience set in a futuristic world dominated by powerful corporations. Developed and published by Megame LLC, the game places players in the role of an operator who remotely controls combat units sent into dangerous urban warzones. This premise provides a fitting...

i had high hopes for this game but unfortunately the experience turned out to be underwhelming. I played the game for around an hour and decided that i'm just not having fun. It's unfortunate because it does have many highlights in terms of art style and in game customization and it has so much potential. But some fundamental aspects of the game is just too underwhelming to be called "fun". The three major problems...

The BANG Score is one number for value, 0 to 100: price against how it reviews and how long it was built to be. It answers the money question and stops there; whether the game is for you is still your call.

Reviews set the ceiling and price moves you inside it, so a cheap game that reviews badly cannot climb. Ratings from few reviewers are shrunk toward the middle, so 100 percent from nine people does not outrank 96 percent from ninety thousand. Length comes from HowLongToBeat where it can be matched, measured against a per-genre floor so a five-hour narrative game is judged against other narrative games rather than against a sixty-hour RPG. Where no verified length exists the score says so and carries a dock, because the biggest input is then a guess. The full method, including where it is weak → Steam reviews as of Sep 10, price as of Sep 24.
