this game is fun but broken in a way that some encounters are bs and there's exploits that you can take advantage of should you wish to. - like the shelter is supposed to be a one off thing that your squad can recover, give free ammo then save your progress but by loading that save, you can rest endlessly to get free ammo/recover hp with the right perks - there is a somewhat working stealth mechanic where you can...

A surprisingly good XCOM 2-like that ran so bad on my old computer, it affected the pathfinding AI - but what I did play of it I loved and now with a new rig I am looking forward to giving it another shot. If you liked the tension and horror in XCOM: EU and the QoL and smooth gameplay of XCOM 2, you should absolutely give this game a shot. Just make sure you meet the recommended specs.
If you like the OG Aliens movie, this is Aliens The Game™. Finished on Medium difficulty in 34 hours and lost 6 marines total(rip). Felt pretty challenging on some parts if I wasn't careful. No jumpscares per se which is fine, but lots of chaotic claustrophobia, terror, and spooky.
