Songs of Syx is a fantasy city-builder with vast battles simulating thousands of citizens and soldiers. Start off as a small village and build, scheme, and fight your way towards a mighty empire. The mechanics are deep and true to life, where tiny events can spiral into the collapse of kingdoms.

This game is endlessly deep. It's factorio depth and scope in a rimworld wrapper and a total war bow. This is your favorite games favorite game. Your wife's boyfriend dumped her to play this game.
Trust me, the top down is a lot less of a deal breaker than you were thinking. Good game. Dev is active and in discord, good chap. Give him some cash for this shweet game.
spent half a year learning how the game worked before i built my massive and wealthy racist human empire beset on the cleansing of other races and making the empire full of 300,000 human citizens and 24,000 elite human troops...killed over a million ppl. also built my capital to 17,500 humans with massive walls and formatting. 10/10 niche and fun but strategic and hard game
