I've loved Legend of Mana since the PS1 days, and this remaster nails the parts that made me fall for it: the hand painted backgrounds look gorgeous, the arranged soundtrack is lovely, and the dreamy vignette storytelling still feels like nothing else out there. Comparing to the original LoM game, this remaster is way unpolished. I mean I certainly love that game, but this looks like being developed hasty. Backgrounds in 4K is good, remastered soundtrack too, but that's all what this remaster has to offer. The game lacks of remastered sprites, those are pixelated like in original game.
