The interface is pretty brutal. It's not complex, it's just buggy. Sometimes you interact with things because it says you can, others you won't get an "interaction" indicator but still need to be standing in the right place. Inventory select is awful, it moves the list item to the center to select it again. And moving, often times you click on something that looks of interest only for your pumpkin friend to move...

I just finished playing Mr. Pumpkin Adventure yesterday, and compared to that one, I feel like the visuals have improved quite a bit in this game. The art style is still very similar to Mr. Pumpkin Adventure. However, I wasn't a big fan of the full screen option. Unlike Mr. Pumpkin Adventure, which lets you resize the game window, I couldn't make the window smaller in this one. I also noticed that my PC fans were...
A massive upgrade puzzle-wise compared to its strange and specifically difficult (i.e. fixation with math problems!) predecessor, and a very successful and appealing change of genre overall, as this is a clear adventure-puzzler instead of a pure puzzler. I enjoyed the story, the simple yet brilliant graphics and animations, the various quests, the interaction with a bunch of interesting NPCs, the soothing background...
