A complete disaster compared to the first two games. The excessive randomness, poorly designed mechanics and badly balanced difficulty make the combat frustrating rather than enjoyable. The boss fights are poorly designed, and the overall gameplay feels much less polished than is predecessors. Dark quest 3 completely killed my interest in the franchise. After this one, I have no deisre to play the next games. 100%...

i'll never understand game developers that come so close to greatness but don't follow through with the final polishing touches to get it there
If you were a fan of the Hero Quest board game in the 90's, then this will satisfy your itch. The game is really fun and addicting, and before you know it, you're stuck on Chaos Castle. You can become an azure dragon too!
