I'll preface this by saying this game felt way longer then 77 hours but the game was fine despite feeling like an absolute slog. nice to see so many old characters have a role and we get some very interesting lore about the world as a whole, but why are you even reading this? if you've made it this far into the franchise you're probably here for the long haul
The last game of the Cold Steel sub-sub-series(?). It has so many character that i don't really use, i really only use them when there is a split route. I don't remember much of what's happening until before the final battle. Gameplay-wise i don't really remember any improvement from the previous game too.
Trails of Cold Steel 4 is one of the only games in this series that has left me this conflicted. The story isn't terrible but not amazing either, just decent. If you played every other Trails game up to this point you will be rewarded BIG TIME because you will see A LOT of familiar faces from both the Liberl and Crossbell arcs.
