Back to Roots I like RTS games, but I never played the original Command & Conquer games. They're almost the same age as me. I grew up playing Generals, Generals: Zero Hour, and I was never interested in the lore of Tiberian Dawn or Red Alert. A remake that leaves alone what doesn't need changing; and gives you the option to make things easier on the eye when you want to, and only when you want to. Unreservedly recommended.
Very mediocre remaster. Also how did they mess up the unit pathfinding AI? The remastered graphics are also just kind of awful. It retains the same issues that plagued the original CnC's difficulty with no remedy. I don't blame anyone for beating the campaign on easy. The steam achievements completion rates should tell you all you need to know about how people feel about the campaigns of these games. Just play...
