What players say
The soundtrack, Gameplay, and the noir love story of Max & Mona.. 10/10. For a game this old? None of the recent AAA games can even come close to this masterpiece. "The past is like pieces of a broken mirror, you try to pick them up, but you only end up cutting yourself..."

Playing this again after so many years, wow. It's still oozing with pulpy noir goodness that doesn't age. Sure the graphics are nothing to write home about anymore, but the story and characters and voice acting keep you hooked anyway. With the widescreen fix in place, this game is still a 9/10 well worth playing if you never have before. And worth revisiting if you haven't played it since the good ol' early 2000's.
When I was little, I always remembered the level with the theme park and the cutscene at the end of it. Again, now on the bigger screen and 144hz, it's amazing. Simple, yet absolute beast of a game that has a amazing story and you can never go wrong with just gunblazing and jumping around corners to surprise your enemies with a set of dual MAG-10s
