The value story
It has never been cheaper than $14.99. That was June 2024. It has been discounted 14 times in the 4 years tracked here, typically at 60 percent off, with about 10 weeks between sales.
It is pricier than 99 percent of its genre, and less well reviewed than 90 percent. On the same math Mortal Kombat 1 ($49.99, scores 29) and Fraymakers ($19.99, scores 44) are the better buys, and they are the games it most resembles.
Steam's global achievement data puts about 5 percent of players at this game's ending achievement. On a 1.6-hour game, the hours short of it still count in its price per hour. Of the 800 Steam-purchase reviews this site sampled, 24 come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written August 2022 to August 2026. That is more refunded reviewers than 8 in 10 paid games this site has sampled to the same depth, and among the 2,814 games in its genre sampled this deeply, 445 have a larger share. Inside the two-hour refund window, 47 percent of the 383 reviews written there were positive, against 63 percent overall, and those are 10 percent of everything written about it.
The main story runs 1.6 hours. Doing everything runs 127, 80 times as long.

Dmangamer242 here with another game review. Today's is a very popular game played around the world. Based on characters from it's JRPG version. This game is of course Dungeon Fighter. But this version is not the dungeon crawler that gamers are use to. This version is a anime fighter I which you use different fighting styles to win one on one matches. The first one to win two out of three matches win the over all...
We are gathered here today, to mourn the short life and beautiful potential of DNF Duel. You came out of nowhere. Spun off the loins of a Niche within a Niche, to yet another, but fitting Niche. DNF Duel had fun, wild characters, great visuals, and great music. (Not to mention the niche but always appreciated ability to change the spoken language, specifically by character.) You came out with such fire, such energy...
I honestly wish this game had been successful, given how good the reinterpretations of the DFO character designs are, but unfortunately, it's genuinely a bad fighting game. It lacks depth, a burst mechanic (since a tod can start even if some characters are far away), no single-player content, generic soundtrack, a complete unpleasant balance between characters, no comeback mechanics, and an overdose of plus-frames...
