Its a fun quirky strategy game that is fun to play but I bought the game on sale when it was much cheaper. Definitely do not buy it for full price, compared to other RTS games that are made today it is not as good but it brings some of that old-school RTS feel with it and is good for gamers that remember the challenging mechanics and playstyles of old RTS games. Pros: ✅ Funny and enjoyable story. ✅ Responsive controls and smooth unit pathing (not surprising since it runs on the Warcraft III engine). ✅ Great value for the price (about 13 hours of gameplay). ✅ I had no issues playing on Windows 11. Cons: ❌ Some missions can be easily exploited.
BC Kings is an ancient game from 2008. It's a whopping 16 years old at the time of this review. The game lacks support for any modern gaming display resolutions (or widescreen monitors), hasn't been modernised or updated to run smoothly on modern gaming PCs.
