The value story
It has never been cheaper than $9.89. That was October 2022. It has been discounted 23 times in the 6 years tracked here, typically at 45 percent off, with about 12 weeks between sales.
Value puts it in the top 18 percent of the games it competes with. It is pricier than 84 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 91 percent. Among the games that feel like it, Firewatch ($19.99, scores 56) beats it on value, while it beats The Suicide of Rachel Foster ($17.99, scores 19).
Steam's global achievement data puts 62 percent of players at this game's ending achievement. The median game this site can measure sits at 15. 3 of the 359 Steam-purchase reviews sampled here come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written March 2021 to August 2026. Inside the two-hour refund window, 94 percent of the 855 reviews written there were positive, against 91 percent overall, and those are 82 percent of everything written about it.

What players say
A very short but enjoyable little story game. It's very much a walking sim, and your choices seem to matter more for flavour than for narrative outcome, but it was a well-told story and a pleasant enough way to spend an hour and a half.
More of a emotional ride rather than a game, but that's perfectly okay. Cause it hurts. A lot.
Interesting, but glad I got it on a sale; double checked to be sure, and there just isn't a lot of depth here for the non-sale pricetag, even given the spit and polish. It's a tight short story, just a little too short, perhaps. Replay value is a little low as well, but if you like short thematic stories, get it on sale.
