Fun roguelite for a lil while, with no excessive meta-progression and satisfying "number go up" gameplay. It falls off quite a bit when you wget into the later stuff that makes the game longer/harder, where you will quickly find that the number of viable builds reduces drastically and even amongst those you might just get hard-countered by particular encounters. Interesting combo of Peggle and Slay the Spire. I enjoyed the strategy of building your bag of orbs. Not too difficult to win. Unfortunately unlocking the other 3 characters is a grind.
Ah, I really wanted to enjoy this one, particularly considering the *hours* I put into Peggle when I was younger. However, where this lacks is in the very thing that is supposed to separate it from Peggle. The RPG elements are just... not strong enough to hold my attention. I don't know if I could have even made any suggestions for improvements, so I'm inclined to think this isn't even on the devs: I think there's...
