I haven't played much of this game, but I know that it's essentially a compilation of all the various Monkey Ball games that have come before it. Personally, I'm really enjoying the package. Just going through the story mode right now and from what I understand, I'm about half-way through that content. Far from mastering all the levels, but at least passing them. No complaints. I'm playing it on the Deck and it runs...
This is exactly what the monkey ball franchise should be. A near spotless recreation of the first two games, which set the standard the rest of the games unfortunately couldn't live up to. To anyone with fond memories of those games, this is a fantastic remaster. A slight change in the physics, but not a hard one to get used to. To anyone new to the franchise, this is a perfect entry. Physics are not the same anymore and worst part is that Xbox One controller isn't supported. I recommend playing Super Monkey Ball 2 on a Gamecube emulator.
