the game isn't that hard its just verry punishing if you make mistakes, the curse mecanic is pretty annoying forcing you to slow your gameplay a lot on ascent. an overall good game with some issues, consider buying it if you love the anime.
My personal love-hate relationship with this game genuinely bothers me. It's a good game, it's an ok 21st century's 2nd decade game. It's a mediocre story adaptation, It's a great feeling of wonder to explore in the non-story mode. I love the mechanics, I hate the combat. TL;DR i rate it 5/10 I 100% this lovely mess before on PS4 and it's just as bad on PC. So for the pros and cons. If you love the Anime as much as i do you will find some genuine enjoyment here. The soundtrack is absolutely amazing, you get to meet many of the characters we know and love, the different areas of the Abyss' layers are also really nice to look at and the progression through rank and levels feels earned...
