Great WoD visual novel, probably one of the best not based on the Choice of Games engine. The art is great and atmospheric, and finally a good amount of possible choices. While the games is quite short (less than 3 hours) and I would have preferred more content, the plot is not too rushed. I played on linux, I had to activate GE compatibility and then it ran smoothly.
I'm gonna give this a soft recommend but have mixed feelings about it honestly, the game is short but sweet which is fine if you got it at a massive discount like I did... but the very sudden and hard yank in direction midway through the story left me conflicted. On the one hand the story has a surprising amount of choices and amazing art to go along with it... on the other completely dropping the first part of the...
This is an excellent format for a storytelling game and will attract those that want a break from button smashing, its basically an interactive book that is done with high quality writing and effect branching. Excellent...we need more!
