I played ALL the original games back in the day. And then I played this game for 35.8 hours. It reminded me of the old games and was fun enough for me to stick with it. I don't believe I encountered any breaking bugs - I would not have played almost 36 hours otherwise. So, I'm not sure about the negative reviews. This game delivered what it promised for me

its a little diferent form the Original Pharaoh because of the controls, if there is ayhthing that I miss from the orgiginal game was the capabilities of controlling how much a storage yard and the granary could hold of the items. But beyond htat It's really good
