What drives the score
How to read this
Every input gets a grade, S to D, read from the buyer's side. The score is multiplicative, so an input only counts as raising when it sits near the top of its own scale. Anything with real room left is holding the score back, because that room is the gap to 100. ▲ marks a lift, ▼ a drag or a dock, ? an input we do not have, • a fact this genre's score does not use. The exact weights stay secret.
The value story
The lowest price on record is $19.99, set in September 2025. Its cuts run 50 percent off as a rule. There have been 22 in the 4 years tracked, about 6 weeks apart. Today it is at full price. The last sale was about 3 weeks ago, and on this game's rhythm the next one tends to arrive within 6 weeks.
Against its own genre it lands in the top 10 percent on value. It is pricier than 98 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 84 percent. Among the games that feel like it, Lethal League ($13.99, scores 75) beats it on value, while it beats Mortal Kombat 1 ($49.99, scores 29).
Critics scored it 92, but players land 10 points lower at 82 percent. The reviews were kinder than the room.
Players rate it 82 percent positive over its lifetime, but the last 30 days run 68 percent. Something recent has soured the room. This site sampled 799 of its Steam-purchase reviews; 11 were written by buyers who refunded it, sampled from reviews written July 2026 to September 2026. Inside the two-hour refund window, 54 percent of the 1,518 reviews written there were positive, against 82 percent overall, and those are 3 percent of everything written about it. It sells extras on top of the sticker price (boost, cosmetic); the score docks it lightly for that.
17.3 hours to finish it, 73 to exhaust it. The completionist tail is 4.2 times the campaign.

Valve rates it Steam Deck Verified, so it runs on the handheld without fiddling.

What players say
You can't quit the game from training mode, single player, or from most menus. You have to exit the level, return to mode select, return to the main menu, open the multi-menu (don't press Esc, this will bring you back to the title screen, which you also can't exit from), then exit to desktop. Don't know why this problem exists in the year of our lord 2026 or why ending SF6 in task manager is the fastest way to close...
"Wow I have way too much money" "What am I gunna do with all this money" "It's literally falling out of my pockets! Won't somebody please take some of this money?!" "So anyway, that's how I imagine our target audience" - capcom cu ck meeting
I picked up SF6 right after xiaohai took his second EWC win. Tons of new players were jumping in around the same time, so the online environment was actually pretty solid back then. I'm not even into fighting games normally, n I'm straight up bad at most action games. But SF6 made one thing super clear right away, put in the work n u see progress instantly, with really satisfying positive feedback the whole way...

Street Fighter™ 6 scores 53/100 on the BANG Score (fair value). The BANG Score rates what a game is worth for the money. Via Steam BANGERS. https://steambangers.com/game/1364780/street-fighter-6The BANG Score is one number for value, 0 to 100: price against how it reviews and how long it was built to be. It answers the money question and stops there; whether the game is for you is still your call.
Reviews set the ceiling and price moves you inside it, so a cheap game that reviews badly cannot climb. Ratings from few reviewers are shrunk toward the middle, so 100 percent from nine people does not outrank 96 percent from ninety thousand. Length comes from HowLongToBeat where it can be matched, measured against a per-genre floor so a five-hour narrative game is judged against other narrative games rather than against a sixty-hour RPG. Where no verified length exists the score says so and carries a dock, because the biggest input is then a guess. The full method, including where it is weak → Steam reviews as of Sep 12, price as of Sep 24.
