The value story
February 2026 is where it bottomed out, at $25.99. Its cuts run 35 percent off as a rule. There have been 8 in the 2 years tracked, about 8 weeks apart. Today it is at full price, and its last discount ended about 3 weeks ago.
On value it sits in the top 4 percent of its genre. It is pricier than 98 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 91 percent. Among the games that feel like it, TowerFall Ascension ($14.99, scores 83) beats it on value, while it beats MARVEL vs. CAPCOM Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics ($49.99, scores 46).
Steam's global achievement data puts about 6 percent of players at this game's ending achievement. On a 6.9-hour game, the hours short of it still count in its price per hour. Of the 409 Steam-purchase reviews this site sampled, 13 come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written May 2025 to September 2026. That is more refunded reviewers than 8 in 10 paid games this site has sampled to the same depth, and among the 2,814 games in its genre sampled this deeply, 408 have a larger share. The typical game sits near 5 in 1,000, so the score docks it. In its first 30 days on sale, 8 of 126 sampled reviews came from refunders. Inside the two-hour refund window, 67 percent of the 207 reviews written there were positive, against 86 percent overall, and those are 28 percent of everything written about it.
6.9 hours to finish it, 36 to exhaust it. The completionist tail is 5.2 times the campaign.
At 6.9 hours it is a handheld-sized game, and Valve rates it Deck Verified.

What players say
I remember playing these games ages ago. I thought after such a long time that maybe these games had aged poorly, but it's quite the opposite! They're actually MORE fun than I remember... or maybe I got so used to how fun they were that I forgot how good the quality was. I never forgot about Power Stone 2. That's how strong of an impression it made when I played it so long ago, but even thought I'm still in the...
Its pretty great, a bunch of capcom arcade games with a few modernizations like rebindable controls, versus modes and online play. Is it worth the price? Probably not when its not on sale. Its an excellent port and for those unwilling or unable to emulate its a solid choice. Of course we know most gamers don't actually care about having their games legally accessible. They just want an excuse to pirate and emulate.
