Old game, same old Kiryu, and somehow still ridiculously fun. Great story, peak Yakuza nonsense, hilarious side quests, and street fights that feel more like stress relief than actual combat. Probably the easiest Yakuza I've played, but watching Kiryu turn every thug into a walking punching bag never gets old.
An unsung underdog of a bloated franchise, one of the bests of the bunch. Overshadowed by the previously released Yakuza 0... Perhaps rightfully so, but this game possesses its own strengths including a killer new engine that in my opinion enhanced the fights ten fold.
