The value story
December 2023 is where it bottomed out, at $7.19. 18 discounts in the 5 years on record. They run about 25 percent off, roughly 7 weeks apart. No sale on record has reached $5.58, the price it would take to be a BANGER.
Against its own genre it lands in the top 4 percent on value. It is pricier than 72 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 98 percent. Among the games that feel like it, TOEM: A Photo Adventure ($1.99, scores 83) beats it on value, while it beats Old Man's Journey ($9.99, scores 55).
81 from critics against 96 percent from players, and the player number comes from people who own the game.
This site sampled 379 of its Steam-purchase reviews; 5 were written by buyers who refunded it, sampled from reviews written June 2021 to August 2026. Inside the two-hour refund window, 91 percent of the 379 reviews written there were positive, against 96 percent overall, and those are 20 percent of everything written about it.
It carries Valve's Deck Verified rating and runs 4.6 hours, about as long as a handheld game wants to be.

What players say
TLDR; This game is fun and special and unique. I suggest it completely. What works: +incredible attention to detail +humor is excellent +difficult without being grueling/still fun though frustrating +consistent mechanics that grow with you over time +gorgeous art style +achievements are not too hard to acquire if you are ready to talk to everyone and take every path. I'm super dilligent about this, so it seemed easy...
This is a truly wonderful game. There are so many details to every maze that keep it from being boring, and there are so many easter eggs and things to achieve outside of the collectibles in each level, which also enhances the quality of the gameplay. Truly a stellar game.
A cute mashup of hidden objects and mazes. It's clearly aimed at kids, but I still had fun.
