The value story
The lowest price on record is $1.19, set in November 2025. It has been discounted 52 times in the 5 years tracked here, typically at 75 percent off, with about 5 weeks between sales.
Against its own genre it lands in the top 26 percent on value. It is pricier than 89 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 74 percent. Among the games that feel like it, Strange Horticulture ($15.99, scores 76) beats it on value, while it beats Beholder 3 ($17.99, scores 12).
Of the 595 Steam-purchase reviews this site sampled, 6 come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written July 2021 to August 2026. Inside the two-hour refund window, 43 percent of the 118 reviews written there were positive, against 79 percent overall, and those are 9 percent of everything written about it.

First time in years I've stayed up all night to complete a game and find out what happens! - Cool story, definitely worth playing <3
I cannot recommend this enough. I haven't gotten this into a games story in a long time - the characters are well written and likeable, the mysteries are intriguing, and there's so many twists. I got it on sale but I would've happily payed full price. It seems the devs aren't active anymore which sucks because I could play 100 more games in this series and not get bored. If you have a chance, absolutely pick this up.
