The value story
August 2025 is where it bottomed out, at $1.79. Its cuts run 65 percent off as a rule. There have been 43 in the 5 years tracked, about 6 weeks apart.
It is pricier than 86 percent of its genre, and less well reviewed than 87 percent. The games it most resembles do better on the same math. Beholder 2 ($17.99, scores 66) and Beholder ($13.99, scores 72) both outscore it.
Of the 499 Steam-purchase reviews this site sampled, 6 come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written April 2025 to August 2026. That is more refunded reviewers than 7 in 10 paid games this site has sampled to the same depth, and among the 2,725 games in its genre sampled this deeply, 807 have a larger share. Inside the two-hour refund window, 54 percent of the 368 reviews written there were positive, against 65 percent overall, and those are 16 percent of everything written about it.
