The value story
The value story
Across all 22 discounts in the 4 years tracked, the median cut is 40 percent, about 6 weeks apart. Today it is at full price, and its last discount ended about 4 weeks ago.
It is pricier than 97 percent of its genre, and less well reviewed than 99 percent. On the same math Nioh: Complete Edition ($49.99, scores 51) and Nioh 2 – The Complete Edition ($49.99, scores 70) are the better buys, and they are the games it most resembles.
More about Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty
Critics scored it 79, but players land 29 points lower at 50 percent. The reviews were kinder than the room.
This site sampled 800 of its Steam-purchase reviews; 5 were written by buyers who refunded it, sampled from reviews written March 2025 to October 2026. Inside the two-hour refund window, 27 percent of the 2,719 reviews written there were positive, against 50 percent overall, and those are 13 percent of everything written about it. It sells extras on top of the sticker price (boost); the score docks it lightly for that.

What players say
Bought this game because I tried the Wolong 2 demo and it was on sale. Honestly has some of the best combat in any souls-like. There are many different weapon types, and a bunch of martial arts and wizardry abilities that you can combine with each weapon to deeply customize your playstyle. Combat is very addictive, boss battles so far have been an absolute blast. I highly recommend it if your a souls fan and you'll...

Love it. The naysayers can go away. If you liked Nioh, and Sekiro, then Wo Long should be right up your alley. It's got the same graphics engine as Nioh, and the same core gameplay. Explore battlefield, kill enemies, kill boss, do subquests, move on, sort through loot, upgrade, adapt, etc. Once you know what you're doing and what your build is going to be, then you will really enjoy it, I believe. My main gripes are...
It isnt bad for a 2017 game... only problem is that it was made in 2023. Quality is close to Nioh 1, but Nioh 2 was made 2 years earlier and looks 10x better. Just play Nioh if you want a soulslike, and play dynasty warriors if you want 3 kingdoms
