Weapon movesets at base have a few different options for speed and damage output, and beyond that are hightly customizable with different skills that can be unlocked the further you progress. (when you have a good build) This game is third person diablo looter with tekken style combat with an insane number of magic/ninjutsu attacks. Just remember this, in Dark Souls, you wait for the opening then attack, in Nioh, you attack, attack and make sure to ki pulse so you can attack some more. Came back to review this game after finishing Nioh 3 main story and DLC. That game makes everything Nioh way easier ...
Worst souls-like I played so far. 100k items per mission that are useless and you have to sell / dissemble them. Side missions are just same maps or smaller version of them / reversed. Overcomplicated skill system / mechanic in some aspects. Almost verything 1 - 2 shots you entire game no matter what. Attacks not telegraphed properly to you getting 1 shotted.
