What players say
I tried to like this game. Three separate times, in fact. And all three times, I ended up quitting around the 2-3 hour mark. On paper, this game has pretty much everything I want: base building, zombies, management, and even the ability to roleplay starting out from your own home. Well, sort of. They got the layout of my area wrong, but that's fine. The real problem is that there just isn't much of a cohesive story...

Yeah this game has some ways to go. Someone forgot to give swarms a cooldown, so you'll have 3-5 a day depending on how many people you have. Every save you have will eventually enter a death spiral where you're being attacked too much to get resources and starve. And zombies can phase through buildings and walls.
This may be my favorite game of all time. I love this, everything about it, its the perfect strategy game. Could only be made better if it came with dlc to be played during medieval time period.
