What drives the score

How to read this

Grades run S to D, read from the buyer's side. ▲ marks a lift, ▼ a drag or a dock, ? an input we do not have, • a fact this genre's score does not use. How the grades work

Holding it back
Reviews65% positive
Gates the score. Weak reviews cap it, and nothing reaches BANGER without strong ones
Reach350K+ owners
How many own it and play it, by SteamSpy's estimates (an old snapshot), the biggest driver for a game with no ending
Refunds30 of 800 reviews
Well above the typical game's share of reviews from refunded buyers, so the score takes a small dock
For context
Value$0.51/hr
Price per hour of game. This genre scores on player counts instead
Length15 hours
Typical playtime on HowLongToBeat. Endless games score on players, so hours stay out of it
MonetizationNot known
No monetization record for this game, so nothing is assumed either way
AI contentNone disclosed
From the developer's own Steam disclosure. No disclosure is not proof of none, so it does not move the score

The value story

It has never been cheaper than $4.49. That was January 2026. Its cuts run 50 percent off as a rule. There have been 23 in the 3 years tracked, about 7 weeks apart.

It is less well reviewed than 91 percent of its genre. On the same math Corpse Keeper ($19.99, scores 34) and Overdungeon ($14.99, scores 51) are the better buys, and they are the games it most resembles.

Critics scored it 75, but players land 10 points lower at 65 percent. The reviews were kinder than the room.

Of the 800 Steam-purchase reviews this site sampled, 30 come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written November 2023 to August 2026. That is more refunded reviewers than 9 in 10 paid games this site has sampled to the same depth, and among the 698 games in its genre sampled this deeply, 14 have a larger share. The typical game sits near 5 in 1,000, so the score docks it. 2 of the 30 refunded reviewers were past Valve's two-hour window when they wrote the review. Inside the two-hour refund window, 33 percent of the 350 reviews written there were positive, against 65 percent overall, and those are 12 percent of everything written about it.

Valve rates it Steam Deck Verified, and at 14.7 hours it is short enough to finish on one.

What players say

This is one of my favorites; I haven't touched the multiplayer. But yeah, what is there to say? Addictive gameplay, roguelite, that draw 3 -> pick 1 mechanic that everyone loves, awesome music and sound design, delicious visuals & great writing. It's good solo; I bet it's even better with friends. It's a well-designed & polished gem; I really think it underperformed on the sales... It seems like the title led many...

4/5*s would be 5/5 if I could still play as the heavy from TF2 like in dungeon of the endless

Everytime I come back to this game after having not played it for a couple months, my save game is gone. It seems the only way to resolve this issue is by having to manually create a back-up after closing a session. Due to the amount of progression I have lost this way, I have to give it a thumbs down. There were many other game breaking bugs (like invisible bosses in coop), which I could live with, but this is...
