What players say
Don't listen to the deluge of negative reviews, listen to me. Lords of the Fallen isn't perfect, but it IS one of the best souls-likes out there, and you SHOULD definitely play it. Admittedly, three years ago, LotF shat the bed on release. Combat was janky, the game ran poorly, there were balance issues, etc. Ever since then, the developers have been constantly taking player feedback into account, reworking the...

It´s not that hard like a dark souls. However it´s good enough. The combat is fun. The quest lines are the same way then a souls games (not so obvious). I had a good time playing. I see people reporting crash, however it not happened to me and I hadn´t any issues... maybe good luck. Didn´t play online.
In the world where ds3 and ds2 exists there is no reason to play this as this is basically worse version of ds2 with most of things copied from ds3
