I've played all of these guys games now, and perhaps unsurprisingly, their first game is the worst one. Which is good, it shows that they've learned as they developed more. First off, the digging, it's extremely slow, Even when you max out your drill, even the soil at the top is pretty slow. What I often do on these games is dig out every single bit of dirt I can and bask in the results. I will not do that with this...
**Motherload was better.** Mining Mechs is an okay game if you just want to play through it and reach the end. The mining and upgrading are fun enough, but the grind gets really boring if you're going for 100% achievements. Honestly, the old Motherload Flash game was more fun. It had that same addictive mining loop, but somehow managed to keep things more interesting. Fine if you just want to finish the game. But...
A simple mining game that I enjoyed. The upgrade system leaves a bit to be desired, but overal positive experience if you don't expect too much.
