The value story
37 discounts in the 4 years on record, a median of 50 percent off across all of them, roughly 6 weeks apart. Today's $5.99 at 80 percent off matches the lowest price in the record.
It is pricier than 96 percent of its genre, and less well reviewed than 79 percent. Factory Town ($19.99, scores 79) outscores it, and so does Transport Fever 2 ($39.99, scores 79). Both sit among its closest neighbours.
More about Sweet Transit
Steam's global achievement data puts under 1 percent of players at this game's ending achievement. On a 3-hour game, the hours short of it still count in its price per hour. This site sampled 669 of its Steam-purchase reviews; 12 were written by buyers who refunded it, sampled from reviews written July 2022 to October 2026. That is more refunded reviewers than 7 in 10 paid games this site has sampled to the same depth, and among the 2,597 games in its genre sampled this deeply, 717 have a larger share. Inside the two-hour refund window, 30 percent of the 169 reviews written there were positive, against 67 percent overall, and those are 15 percent of everything written about it.
It carries Valve's Deck Verified rating and runs 3 hours, about as long as a handheld game wants to be.

It was on sale at 80% off, and since I'm a fan of several adjacent genres, including OpenTTD and Factorio, I decided to give it a try. Considering the current price (8,100 KRW / $6.99 USD), I thought it is worth trying. The core concept is appealing and the game seems to have some interesting ideas. However, I'm still not sure what is supposed to motivate the endgame. Is the main goal simply to build increasingly...

I bought this when it first came out, I really enjoyed it. Left it a while, then read poor reviews. Today I thought it can't be that bad, reinstalled it, what a steaming pile this has turned into. When are developers going to realise they are not as bright as they think they are, if it ain't broke don't try to "fix" it.
What a frustrating and finicky game. I've restarted the tutorial plenty of times trying to make heads or tails from it all. The tutorial doesn't seem to really explain everything it needs to. You are required to build stuff, but if it's mentioned that buildings have context building menus, it's something I figured out by trial and error. Next, it requires me to build a train depot, that somehow positions different...
