The value story
June 2025 is where it bottomed out, at $9.99. Its cuts run 50 percent off as a rule. There have been 38 in the 5 years tracked, about 6 weeks apart.
On value it sits in the top 39 percent of its genre. It is pricier than 99 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 86 percent. The games it most resembles do better on the same math. A Shelter Full of Cats ($3.49, scores 97) and Dordogne ($14.99, scores 62) both outscore it.
12 of the 381 Steam-purchase reviews sampled here come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written October 2021 to August 2026. That is more refunded reviewers than 9 in 10 paid games this site has sampled to the same depth, and among the 1,656 games in its genre sampled this deeply, 36 have a larger share. The typical game sits near 5 in 1,000, so the score docks it. 1 of the 12 refunded reviewers was past Valve's two-hour window when they wrote the review. Inside the two-hour refund window, 85 percent of the 389 reviews written there were positive, against 88 percent overall, and those are 51 percent of everything written about it.
Valve rates it Steam Deck Verified, and at 1.1 hours it is short enough to finish on one.

I beat this **** in 1 hr. Weee! But then I noticed not a single trading card had dropped, so I restarted the game, moved the laptop aside, watched TV, and fell asleep. An hour later, I woke up and still no card drops. The game was still running, so I went back to sleep and woke up several hours later to 5 card drops (there are 11 cards total). Okay, gameplay. This was the most challenging game I've ever played. JK...
Kids at TIS had a blast playing it, so I have absolutely no complaints. Thanks to this game for making me the king of the kids among the vols. o(* ̄▽ ̄*)ブ However, when I went back to hunt for the remaining achievements on my own, some were actually pretty tough to trigger, you have to follow the guide exactly just to get the trophies to pop. Did the devs really take into account that this game's target audience is...
