Okay, so the story is alright but the characters are ultra cringe. That kind of puts a damper on the experience. The gameplay itself and the world design though are brilliant. If you can manage to sit through weird dialogue and mostly a cringe protagonist, you're in for a treat. Combat seemed underwhelming at first, but that changed soon. Looking back i remembered X-Com was kind of the same back in the day.
