Went as a massive titan with a subterran society. Did not visit the surface for at least 70 turns Fourth i...
I actually swore to myself I'd never buy another Paradox game again, since it feels like they just release DLCs and never fix bugs (see Stellaris). The lowest price on record is $24.99, set in September 2025. It has been discounted 25 times in the 3 years tracked here, typically at 35 percent off, with about 6 weeks between sales. Today it is at full price. The last sale was about 8 weeks ago, and on this game's rhythm the next one tends to arrive within 6 weeks.
On value it sits in the top 10 percent of its genre. Among the games that feel like it, Overlord™: Raising Hell ($9.99, scores 66) beats it on value, while it beats Age of Wonders III ($29.99, scores 57).
Steam's global achievement data says about 1 percent of players ever finish it. On a 19.4-hour game, that is a lot of paid-for hours most people never see. It sells extras on top of the sticker price (cosmetic); the score docks it lightly for that.
