What players say
This game is super fun and well made. Simple, but well done. I love how you can rank up your main Hero to be literally unstoppable. The campaign is good but I love playing skirmish mostly. That's where you have longevity in this game.

I originally played Age of Wonders on a Windows 98 PC over two decades ago, so coming back to it after all this time has been a fantastic trip down memory lane. Nostalgia was definitely part of what brought me back, but I was pleasantly surprised by just how well the game still holds up. The graphics and interface are undeniably from another era, but the gameplay is as engaging as I remember. Building your empire...
This game has never worked for me. Unless an update is made to this game, I don't believe it will run for you. Sometime in the first chapter the game will freeze and you won't be able to play it.
