The value story
It has never been cheaper than $1.99. That was December 2025. 22 discounts in the 3 years on record. They run about 80 percent off, roughly 7 weeks apart. Today's $3.99 at 80 percent off still sits 101 percent above the floor, so a deeper cut exists in its history.
It is pricier than 84 percent of its genre. Among the games that feel like it, King of Crabs (free, scores 49) beats it on value, while it beats Worms Rumble ($14.99, scores 2).
34 of the 599 Steam-purchase reviews sampled here come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written October 2023 to September 2026. That is more refunded reviewers than 9 in 10 paid games this site has sampled to the same depth, and among the 651 games in its genre sampled this deeply, 35 have a larger share. The typical game sits near 5 in 1,000, so the score docks it. 1 of the 34 refunded reviewers was past Valve's two-hour window when they wrote the review. Inside the two-hour refund window, 51 percent of the 435 reviews written there were positive, against 70 percent overall, and those are 44 percent of everything written about it.
HowLongToBeat players log 2.3 hours as a typical playtime, and completionists log 45, 20 times as much.

What players say
Ain't nobody ever online to play. But it's still fun. I wish there was a local option, in some way.
**One of the Best Fall Guys-Style Games!** I really recommend this game! It's a lot of fun and one of the best games in the Fall Guys style. Here are a few things I think could make the game even better: * Reduce the lobby waiting time from 60 seconds to around 15-30 seconds. * Add a Battle Pass with both free and paid rewards, especially costumes. * Add more music-based rounds. Overall, I really recommend...
I can see where the dev's were going with this, however, its not really fun when 90% of multiplayer mode is BOTS. If you have enough people (say local play) then there isn't any issues.
