The value story
The lowest price on record is $23.99, set in September 2024. Its cuts run 60 percent off as a rule. There have been 28 in the 4 years tracked, about 7 weeks apart. Today's $23.99 at 60 percent off matches the lowest price in the record.
Take the discount away and it is a 47. With it, 57.
Value puts it in the top 11 percent of the games it competes with. It is pricier than 98 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 74 percent. Among the games that feel like it, Fuga: Melodies of Steel ($39.99, scores 69) beats it on value, while it beats Lost Eidolons ($34.99, scores 22).
Steam's global achievement data puts about 5 percent of players at this game's ending achievement. On a 34.5-hour game, the hours short of it still count in its price per hour. This site sampled 800 of its Steam-purchase reviews; 7 were written by buyers who refunded it, sampled from reviews written January 2023 to August 2026. Inside the two-hour refund window, 51 percent of the 193 reviews written there were positive, against 80 percent overall, and those are 6 percent of everything written about it.
Finishing takes 34.5 hours; clearing it takes 104, which is 3.0 times the campaign.
Valve rates it Steam Deck Verified, so it runs on the handheld without fiddling.

What players say
First and foremost, this is an extremely dialog heavy game. You will be watching dialog scenes for hours. That's not everyone's cup of tea but it is mine. With that said, I really loved this game. It has a Game of Thrones type type story which revolves around making story altering choices decided by a party vote using the "Scales of Conviction" so it's not entirely up to the player but the player can influence...
Triangle Strategy is such a beautiful experience, especially for anyone who grew up loving classic tactical RPGs. What I love most about this game is how it manages to feel modern while still capturing that wonderful retro feeling that made older strategy games so special. The pixel-art-inspired visuals are absolutely gorgeous. Every character, environment, and battle scene has so much personality, and the HD-2D...
I was hyped for this game because it was developed by Square Enix, but… It feels more like storytelling rather than an action-adventure game. The grinding areas are repetitive. There's very little character customization. The skills are somewhat mediocre-kind of "eh." Shops have limited items and only restock after certain cutscenes or battles. You can equip only two accessories. No helmet, no armor, no gloves to...
