What drives the score
How to read this

The value story
It has never been cheaper than $14.99. That was June 2026. It has been discounted 19 times in the 3 years tracked here, typically at 50 percent off, with about 7 weeks between sales. Today it is at full price, and its last discount ended about 6 weeks ago.
It is pricier than 99 percent of its genre, and less well reviewed than 93 percent. Among the games that feel like it, AEW: Fight Forever ($9.99, scores 5) beats it on value, while it beats Undisputed ($19.99, scores 3).
90 of the 800 Steam-purchase reviews sampled here come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written February 2024 to August 2026. That is more refunded reviewers than 9 in 10 paid games this site has sampled to the same depth, and among the 2,814 games in its genre sampled this deeply, 17 have a larger share. The typical game sits near 5 in 1,000, so the score docks it. 19 of the 90 refunded reviewers were past Valve's two-hour window when they wrote the review. Inside the two-hour refund window, 22 percent of the 729 reviews written there were positive, against 62 percent overall, and those are 24 percent of everything written about it.
Finishing takes 4.5 hours; clearing it takes 12, which is 2.7 times the campaign.

What players say
tldr; not worth full price, get it on sale as a joke; combos are literally punch punch punch and kick kick kick it's just not a full game, it's ninjastorm-esque slop and there aren't really any combos. very little skill expression, story scenes are just screenshots from the anime (which, to be fair, I don't really care about but it's a point nonetheless), and all around just a terrible game. you're better off...
