The value story
The lowest price on record is $11.99, set in June 2026. Its cuts run 40 percent off as a rule. There have been 26 in the 2 years tracked, about 6 weeks apart. Today it is at full price, and its last discount ended about 2 weeks ago. $11.47 is what it would take to make this a BANGER, and nothing in its history goes that low.
On value it sits in the top 3 percent of its genre. It is pricier than 97 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 98 percent. Among the games that feel like it, Death's Door ($19.99, scores 73) beats it on value, while it beats Tinykin ($24.99, scores 64).
Players rate it 92 percent positive over its lifetime, but the last 30 days run 82 percent. Something recent has soured the room. Of the 800 Steam-purchase reviews this site sampled, 3 come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written February 2025 to August 2026. Inside the two-hour refund window, 79 percent of the 984 reviews written there were positive, against 92 percent overall, and those are 6 percent of everything written about it.
It carries Valve's Deck Verified rating and runs 14.2 hours, about as long as a handheld game wants to be.

What players say
Who would have thought playing Dark Souls as a tiny crab in a shot glass instead of armor could be so much fun? Using real trash as shells is a brilliant mechanic, and surprisingly challenging. This game is simultaneously charming and brutal. Fending off sea monsters with a fork is incredibly satisfying. Simple, colorful, funny, and surprisingly deep )))
