This is not a smear of this game. It is an honest critique that i cannot ignore with that said if you smashed ac valhalla and this game together it would be a definitive game... but its just survival minecraft with a viking skin. That hurts to say i wanted to love this game i wanted to create a settlement and a ship and go off and conquer or fight whatever i ran into... but my time went into labor trying to create...
This is a game with enormous potential and it tickles the gaming needs I didn't even know existed. Combining survival, combat, base building and villager automation is incredibly satisfying and while individually all of these aspects could be far better implemented, it's their combination that makes the gameplay very satisfying. A thousand times yes. I'm so in love with this game. It gets even better once you start getting into decorating and road building and your town starts to look really cool and have lots of people. Currently building my first ship for my first expedition to show that I have a TON of hours into the game and I haven't even left the island.
