The value story
32 discounts in the 3 years on record, a median of 60 percent off across all of them, roughly 5 weeks apart. Today it is at full price, and its last discount ended 11 days ago.
It is pricier than 69 percent of its genre, and less well reviewed than 97 percent. On the same math Prey ($29.99, scores 69) and Subnautica: Below Zero ($29.99, scores 71) are the better buys, and they are the games it most resembles.
More about Greyhill Incident
Steam's global achievement data puts 86 percent of players at this game's ending achievement. The median game this site can measure sits at 15. Of the 629 Steam-purchase reviews this site sampled, 20 come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written June 2023 to August 2026. That is more refunded reviewers than 9 in 10 paid games this site has sampled to the same depth, and among the 1,422 games in its genre sampled this deeply, 68 have a larger share. The typical game sits near 5 in 1,000, so the score docks it. 4 of the 20 refunded reviewers were past Valve's two-hour window when they wrote the review. Inside the two-hour refund window, 28 percent of the 232 reviews written there were positive, against 43 percent overall, and those are 37 percent of everything written about it.

I understand the no sense of direction and you need to figure things out for yourself, however getting stuck in the cornfield searching for Rachel as I was running around in circles, and then towards the end when I finally found my way out and saw the gate, an alien came out of nowhere (literally appeared behind me), grabbed me, and I couldn't even spam E to get out of its hold and died. Had to play that damn...

This is genuinely a bad game. Don't even buy this on sale. This game is not worth $1.
So contrary to most reviews for this game, I actually enjoyed it. It was fairly creepy for a while, and the dialogue (while being silly) was still played in a serious way, and fitting for the world they were going for. THE BAD: Really just the ending, I saved almost all my ammo expecting a big fight which never happened. It kinda just ends abruptly. Would recommend grabbing on sale. Pretty easy 100% too.
