The value story
May 2025 is where it bottomed out, at $0.79. 15 discounts in the 4 years on record. They run about 50 percent off, roughly 13 weeks apart. Today's $1.99 at 50 percent off still sits 152 percent above the floor, so a deeper cut exists in its history.
Value puts it in the top 15 percent of the games it competes with. It is cheaper than 90 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 85 percent. Among the games that feel like it, The Last Spell ($24.99, scores 78) beats it on value, while it beats Pathway ($15.99, scores 43).

You start off with just your king and a tavern that can recruit a single peasant each day. Head out on adventures to earn gold and resources, then use them to build new structures and upgrade existing ones. Each of your characters can have two levels of training, which...
Short game with limited replayability but let's you explore new classes by training units in different combination of buildings. It's mildly tactical but serviceable for the game of this size. One negative is that some UX could be better and some tooltips would've been good to have.
Fantastic game. Give it 10-20 minutes and you'll start to feel the momentum building. Really love the Battle Realms-style combat training.
