The value story
The lowest price on record is $1.59, set in April 2022. 48 discounts in the 4 years on record. They run about 30 percent off, roughly 5 weeks apart. Today it is at full price, and its last discount ended about 2 weeks ago.
Value puts it in the top 1 percent of the games it competes with. It is cheaper than 61 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 99 percent. Among the games that feel like it, Dorfromantik ($13.99, scores 97) beats it on value, while it beats Rail Route ($9.99, scores 78).
The math says it holds its tier up to $4.64, and you are being asked for $2.99.
Of the 355 Steam-purchase reviews this site sampled, 7 come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written April 2022 to August 2026. That is more refunded reviewers than 8 in 10 paid games this site has sampled to the same depth, and among the 727 games in its genre sampled this deeply, 86 have a larger share. Inside the two-hour refund window, 96 percent of the 1,346 reviews written there were positive, against 97 percent overall, and those are 66 percent of everything written about it.

What players say
LOVED IT but i hoped for a randomly generated layout for a more endless/ replayable game rather than play once and done Game
Very fun puzzle game that is a reference to one of the greatest games ever made. This game is unfortunately pretty short. I beat it before I got all of the card drops from it.
If you're looking for a love letter to RE4, then I recommend the inspired (and completely free-to-download) 'RE4 Otome Edition' instead. As for this game, it was cute, but it's basically a 90-minute patchwork game with a few extra-cumbersome steps. The idea of having to use up some of the health items in order to clear more space is cool, but there's only a few puzzles that clever use of it, and the rest of the time...
