The value story

It is pricier than 98 percent of its genre, and less well reviewed than 72 percent. Among the games that feel like it, AMID EVIL ($19.99, scores 69) beats it on value, while it beats Dragon's Dogma 2 ($39.99, scores 9).
Steam's global achievement data puts about 19 percent of players at this game's ending achievement. On a 14.2-hour game, the hours short of it still count in its price per hour. This site sampled 800 of its Steam-purchase reviews; 10 were written by buyers who refunded it, sampled from reviews written February 2024 to August 2026. Inside the two-hour refund window, 38 percent of the 410 reviews written there were positive, against 70 percent overall, and those are 15 percent of everything written about it.
The main story runs 14.2 hours. Doing everything runs 31, 2.2 times as long.

What players say
The story is good and the gameplay is pretty nice. I'm on my 3rd playthrough and it's still just as fun today.
I mean, its pretty good. Not really a wizard game like it tried to advertise as, but still really enjoyable. I do hope another one gets made at some point, whether it be a sequel or a spin off, honestly a sequel where Jak teaches the next PC would be cool. That or just a spinoff game, It's pretty fun tho
So yeah You get a weird mix of some stuff, there is magic, dystopia, diverse cast(where somehow main character is the only white male character), and an absolutely plain military propaganda plot Imagine you are playing a worse call of duty game, masked as something else. To me it feels like a movie about usa military that shows how cool they are, how brotherhood in military is important and stuff. Cool I guess Also...
